Hi. Thought you'd like to know that the saddle
seems to fit all 3 of my guys quite well. I've ridden a
different one each day and no dry spots on anybody. I've
been using a white felt liner, which shows even dirt/sweat
everywhere. Yea! Oh, yes, it's pretty comfortable for me
too, though my weak right knee has noticed the torque of
new leather. That should resolve itself with use. The seat
is just the right size. Thanks loads. Hope the surgery went
well. Marybelle

Subject: El Dorado Saddle.com Email
Hi Cindy and Harold,
This email is long over due. I have had
my El Dorado Excaliber saddle for
almost a year now and it has solved the sore back that my
Palomino Fox
Trotter had with several previous saddles from other saddle
makers. It is so
nice to finally have a saddle that fits him. His back is
never sore anymore,
even after a 6 hour ride. I use only the booties so saddling
is fast and his
back is always cool.
I rode in lots of mud here in the Shawnee
Forest this spring, but the saddle
cleans up very good and is still beautiful and new looking.
You can tell is
it a quality saddle.
Thank you for your fast service last Christmas
making that adjustment. I
ride a lot and love the saddle.

Subject: Lacada saddle
Cindy,
I received my new Lacada saddle (order #75229)
and I have been pleased with it. My wife has been experiencing
some difficulty with her hip and and got on my new saddle
last week. It's narrower waisted and felt very good to her.
She's also getting along very nicely with a new gelding
we bought last fall for her but one that I've been riding.
I've been teasing that she took my saddle and my horse.
The saddle my wife had been riding is a lightweight
officer's model that we purchased from Hill View at the
2007 expo. I can ride the saddle but it's not as good a
fit as the Lacada. The saddle is in near new condition.
I'm wondering if you know of someone who might be interested
in the saddle or if you would consider a trade to use in
your trial program? If so, I would want to order another
Lacada model identical to my previous order.
Thanks, Terry

Hi Cindy,
IT'S HERE, IT'S HERE, IT'S HERE....It arrived at 3:00 this
afternoon after a sleepless night worrying about the freezing
rain that was forecast for this morning. Woke up to a sheet
of ice, slithered and slipped to the barn like a drunken
sailor in high seas, but later in the morning it changed
to rain and melted off all the ice. Apparently you did all
the paperwork correctly because it arrived here with no
problem.
It is so beautiful and as I gaze out the window at my stinky,
wet, dirty, smelly, shedding horses that all promptly rolled
in the mud when they went out--I am thinking I should just
name it and display it on a portable saddle stand in a place
of prominence in my livingroom forever. Just kidding, although
I will see if one of my spare sets of booties from my old
saddle fits to get it through mud and shedding season and
save the new ones for cleaner days. The leather is as soft
as butter and the matching breast collar is the icing on
the cake--so soft. I sat on it on a saddle stand to adjust
the stirrups (and pretty stirrups they are) and it feels
natural and like there will be no period of adjustment.
I will tell you all about it when I've had a chance to put
it on a horse--I just wanted to let you know that it arrived
and that I think it is beautiful, and beautifully made.
You appear to have thought of everything and the care in
the workmanship, even in the underneath parts no one will
ever see, is apparent.
I told a couple of friends I was getting a new saddle, and
they told the world, so there will be a lot of interest
when it shows up at the first ride in May. I'll make sure
it is spit polished (I always take care of all my tack anyway)
for it's big debut, and will keep your catalogue in the
horse trailer just in case someone is in the market for
a new saddle.
It's been a pleasure doing business with you and I will
keep in touch. And thank you for the inpirational message
about God you sent last week. It was uplifting.
Happy trails,
April

Subject: Re: English or western??
Dear Cindy and Harold; I will start with a
much much over due THANK YOU, for the wonderful work on
my Plantation Amigo. I had the saddle for quite sometime
and it is my favorite saddle. This saddle fit my Bask Arab
well and I was so very upset when after an hour on my DraftX
mare the saddle started to sore her.Being from the Len Brown
era and a sub dealer for Ortho-Flex for years I refused
to go to a conventional saddle. To make a very long story
short I bought an Eldorado Cutback and it fit my mare wonderfully.
I called Harold and my Plantation Amigo could be upgraded
with new panels. I was so excited. The saddle came back
with not only new panels but with new english adjustable
rigging, amazingly at no extra charge, and the old system
2 panels were returned. I was VERY impressed. I have directed
all the people I know who have problems with their flex
panels to Eldorado Saddles for upgrades. Not all flex panels
work for all horses but these panels I think come as close
as you can get now. I had a friend who was having a problem
fitting her horse with a flex panel saddle and I took my
Eldorado Cutback to her, it fit her horse great. I sold
her the saddle and just recently purchased another one,
which I hope to keep. I am a big believer in these panels
and will continue to recomend Eldorado panels and saddles.
If I ever have any questions and e mail or call Eldorado
saddles I can be guaranteed Cindy or Harold will get back
to me ASAP and help with answering or doing whatever they
can to help.
Thanks Again So Much.
All My Best!
D.
Hello, I am writing this to inform potential customers of
your panel systems and how great these panels really are.
I am a working Cowboy on a huge SW ranch. I ride almost daily
on many different horses and mules. The reason I was willing
to try one of the conversions to Easy Slide system 9 panels
was difficulty in fitting so many of these animals. The panels
not only adjust to all these varied animals. They also give
you a closer contact to the animal. I am very pleased. I have
now been riding this converted saddle for about 3 years and
it has performed very well. I rope cattle off of it; I ride
alot of rough or green stock that does act up. I ride it while
leading pack strings in the mountains. I use this saddle hard
and it has stood up to the test. What I am trying to say is
these panels and the way they mount to your saddle tree are
tough and will hold up to heavy use. The only maintence they
need is a squirt of oil every now and then. Also do not tighten
the cinch on these saddles or any saddle more than necessary.
You want your saddle to stay in place and that is all. To
many people over tighten thier cinch and wonder why they have
dry spots in the area above the cinch. The animal isn't to
happy either. I have never had a problem of any sort that
I can attribute to these panels. I am a very happy customer
and recommend these panels to anyone and everyone. Thanks
D.K.
Hi Cindy and Harold,
My saddle arrived today!!!! It is beautiful. Very nice workmanship.
I like
the barb wire tooling. I took it on a short 40 minute ride
this evening. The
seat felt good. My Palomino FT stepped right out and did a
flat foot nicely
without a lot of urging. I tightened the back cinch strap
(of the V
formation) by 2 holes on each side. This really keeps the
cinch away from
his elbows. Does that sound like too much to you? The saddle
seemed to sit
good on his back and didn't slip to the right like my other
saddle was
doing. I used a thin blanket under it, but you did say that
I can just use
it with the booties only??? Right? The booties with the merino
wool are so
soft and clean. I hate to get them dirty. I will be setting
the stirrups in
the next few days and then hope to take it on a long ride.
The stirrups are
4 inches across the bottom. I'm used to 3 inches, but hoping
that I will get
used to the 4, as they are very nice stirrups.
Of course, I won't know if it will solve the sore back problem
I have been
having for a long time. I will just use it and see. I will
keep informed in
the next 4 to 6 months. Thank you for the fast service, the
"barb wire"
coasters, and free shipping. Come and ride in the Shawnee
with us!

Subject: Booties
Cindy,
Just wanted to let you know the booties arrived super fast
and I have used them several times already. They are very
nice and I like how you did the extra material where the rigging
fits. I used the saddle on Sunday on my Ruthie and the saddle
stuck on her, even as I got off and on several times. She
is usually like saddling a pillow!
We are going to the Black Hills in July and I am so glad
I have the booties to use. So now, I even love this saddle
more than I did, if that is possible!!
Thanks for such a good product at a reasonable price!

Subject: Love My Saddle!
Hi Harold,
Sorry it has taken me a while to get this email to you.
You had asked me to email about how well I like my saddle
after being converted to the Amera-flex panels.
I am not a 'light weight' rider, and I was feeling sorry for
my 'smallish sized' Peruvian mare whom I was riding. After
hearing about the possibility of converting my Peruvian saddle
to use the Amera-flex panels I was quite excited. All it took
was a phone call to you at El Dorado Saddle, and I decided
that this is what I wanted to do.
It was already warm enough to begin riding for the summer,
so I was concerned that it would take a while to get my saddle
completed. However, it wasn't but a few weeks after sending
it to you that my saddle arrived back to me and was ready
for riding. My mare had only recently been started under saddle,
but I could tell she loved it....and I loved it, too. What
more could you ask for than to have a comfortable ride on
your horse and know that the horse is also comfortable. We
have taken many long trail rides, ridden in a parade, and
done many fun things using this saddle---all the while having
a comfortable horse and rider. El Dorado Saddle was wonderful
to work with, and I would give a great big "GO FOR IT!"
to anyone who might be considering changing their saddle to
an Amera-flex panel. Thanks for making riding more fun and
comfortable!!
Sincerely,
Pam J.

Subject: Saddle has arrived in SD
Dear Harold and Cindy,
The saddle arrived on Tuesday and was waiting when I got home
from work.
I was so impressed with the workmanship, the tooling and just
about everything you did to the "Sugar Bear"! The
only thing that makes me mad, is that it's like -10 degrees
below zero and I can't try it out yet.
But they say it may get into the 20's this weekend and you
can bet I will be riding in it then!
I also want to mention that my hubby likes the OFF Billet
and will probably be ordering a couple more of those, or he
will be stealing mine!!
Will send photos when we get a decent day and put it on Annie.
Thanks again for such fast service, I love it!

Harold and Cindy,
Thank you so much for doing such a wonderful job of adding
the flex panel to our Peruvian saddle. It fits our horse with
an asymmetrical wither very nicely! Also, thank you Cindy
for making the pad to fit perfectly and for getting the black
fleece I requested to make it with, it looks really nice!
We will likely be getting another Peruvian saddle and if so
I will be contacting you again to do the same flex panel and
pad.
Thank you again,
Lori S.
